چکیده: 

This paper proposes a multi-stage power generation system suitable for renewable energy sources, which is composed of a DC-DC power Converter and a three-phase inverter. The DC-DC power Converter is a boost Converter to convert the output voltage of the DC source into two voltage sources. The DC-DC Converter has two switches operates like a continuous conduction mode. The input current of DC-DC Converter has low ripple and voltage of semiconductors is lower than the output voltage. The three-phase inverter is a T-type inverter. This inverter requires two balance DC sources. The inverter part converts the two output voltage sources of DC-DC power Converter into a five-level line to line AC voltage. Simulation results are given to show the overall system performance, including AC voltagegeneration. A prototype is developed and tested to verify the performance of the Converter.

چکیده: 

In this paper, a boost Converter with a clamp circuit is proposed for high intensity discharge (HID) lamp application. The clamp circuit provides zero voltage turn on for both main and clamp switches. Compared to conventional boost Converters, the proposed Converter has the following advantages: (i) high voltage gain without suffering from extreme duty ratio, (ii) low stress on the switches and (iii) low switching losses. Simulation and experimental results show that the voltage stress on the switches are well within acceptable limits and prove the Converter’s performance over a wide load range.

چکیده: 

در این مقاله تحلیل ساختاری از مبدل dc-dc افزاینده تک ورودی-چندخروجی شامل یک سلف ارایه شده است. خروجی های این مبدل مستقل و منفصل از هم هستند و در کاربردهایی که نیاز به سطوح ولتاژ چندگانه (مجزا) و مستقل از هم به همراه شارش جریان یک سویه باشد، به کار می رود. لازم به ذکر است که حجم و اندازه مبدل موردنظر به دلیل دارابودن تنها یک سلف کاهش یافته است. از مزایای اصلی این ساختار می توان به عدم وجود ترانسفورماتور، امکان ساخت به صورت ماژولار و امکان کلیدزنی در فرکانس های بالا اشاره کرد. در این مقاله اصول عملکرد ساختار مذکور توضیح داده شده و تجزیه و تحلیل دقیق این ساختار انجام گرفته است. نتایج آزمایشگاهی موید صحت عمل کرد مبدل مستقیم-مستقیم کاهنده تک ورودی-چندخروجی ارایه شده است.

Due to the increasing penetration of distributed generation systems, the desire to use DC smart grids has increased. DC smart grids are preferred to AC grids because these networks are more compatible with renewable sources that generate DC electricity. This paper presents the design of a new three-port isolated DC-DC Converter for photovoltaic (PV)-battery application in the DC smart grid. In the proposed Converter, by combining the required Converters for PV and battery, the number of required Converters has been reduced so that the function of charging/discharging the battery, as well as tracking the maximum power point of solar panels, can be done with the proposed Converter. As a result, the number of required parts and the cost of the system are reduced and the efficiency of the Converter increases. Finally, the Converter's performance has been evaluated with the help of analysis and simulation, and the obtained results indicate the proper performance of the proposed Converter.

Renewable energy, such as solar, is crucial to combating the environmental effects of fossil fuels. Some studies have proposed a step-up Converter based on a conventional boost Converter and a coupled inductor. This paper proposes a high step-up DC-DC Converter designed for solar system applications. The interleaving method is used at the Converter's input to reduce the input current ripple and increase the voltage gain. This Converter has a high voltage gain and a low voltage stress on the semiconductor elements, while the conduction losses of the Converter are reduced. The proposed Converter with a power of 220 watts, an input voltage of 10 volts, and an output voltage of 120 volts is simulated in MATLAB software. Ultimately, the performance of the Converter has been assessed through analysis and simulation. Furthermore, the Converter's performance was compared with several similar topologies. The results and comparisons clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed Converter.

In this paper, a novel high step-up voltage switching cell formed by four passive elements and three diodes is proposed. The proposed cell can be integrated into a family of boost Converters to obtain substantial dc gain as required by an electrical grid supplied such as solar or fuel cell. It is integrated into a boost Converter; a new Converter is obtained. The features of a new Converter are significant dc gain without extreme duty cycle which enables the use of lower voltage and R${}_{Ds-on}$ MOSFET switch so as to reduce cost, the low-stress voltage on the switch and diodes, non-pulsating input current, easiness design and operation, single switch which means easiness of transistor driving, and line-load common ground. In addition, the low-voltage stress across diode allows using Schottky rectifiers to eliminate the reverse recovery current which leads to more reduction in conduction and switching losses. The equations of voltage and current in "continuous conduction mode (CCM) and discontinuous mode (DCM)" are extracted. Moreover, the voltage and current stresses on elements and switch are calculated. Finally, the performance of the proposed Converter is validated by simulation results and experimental results to confirm theoretical calculation.
